Do I need to re-index after I have installed Last Comment?

A re-index is necessary when the Last Comment Searcher is chosen as the custom field searcher. Otherwise, re-indexing is not necessary, but recommended.


Can I control the size of the last comment displayed?

Yes, you can modify the maximum length of the content in the custom field via the configuration page.

The Configuration page can be accessed by viewing the app in the 'Manage Apps' page and clicking 'Configure' under where the app is shown.


Do I need to create a custom field to display the last comment?

Yes, you need to create a custom field of type: Last Comment and add it to the appropriate screens in order to view the last comment in a custom field.


I installed the plugin, why don't I see the last comment?

Please make sure you have created a custom field of type: Last Comment and added it to the appropriate screens.
